Hurricane Ike

Philippines 2014

Since the tragic typhoon (Yolanda) that devastated the Philippines in November, WCN continues work related to its initial response.  Through a partner organization, Feeding the Nations, WCN has been able to organize and forward three containers of fortified rice meals to Kids International Ministries, our partner in Manila.  The first 40 foot sea container of over 285,000 fortified rice meals arrived in Cebu, Philippines on Jan 4th.  This food has gone to the islands of Panay and Leyte and specifically to Ormoc City and Rojas City.

About WCN

One of God's most powerful characteristics is compassion.  The very word compassion means "to suffer together, to be involved in other peoples' suffering to the point of taking action to help."
