What we Do

We invite you to join us on this mission of love!

World Compassion Network (WCN) shares the love of Christ with the poor and suffering in the United States and around the world.  We do this in three distinct programs.  The first is through disaster relief.  We respond to disasters by working through a local church or ministry.  WCN assists local churches to reach out to their community by providing experience, equipment and supplies to victims of disasters.  We also offer opportunities for people to get involved through our PIK Kit program or disaster relief teams.

The second way is through our Family 2 Family (F2F) program.  This program enables American families to reach out in love to impoverished families overseas.   WCN distributes empty plastic boxes to local churches; families fill the boxes with items on a shopping list and return the filled box to the church.  We also offer the opportunity for people to go on short term mission trips to distribute the F2F boxes as well as work on sustainability projects that benefit some of the poorest villages.

WCN’s compassion projects are a wonderful way for us to connect and give back to local communities.  Whether it’s through our annual Run/Walk for Hunger or a mobile food packing event – WCN is committed to showing compassion the hungry and suffering.

Feed the hungry and help those in trouble.  Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.  Isaiah 58:10

About WCN

One of God's most powerful characteristics is compassion.  The very word compassion means "to suffer together, to be involved in other peoples' suffering to the point of taking action to help."
